Abstract

In his presentation, Ruben will relate about cepezed’s design approach, which includes a strong focus on the minimization of materials as well as on prefabrication, circularity, demountability and long-term user possibilities by means of flexibility.

Speaker

Ruben Molendijk (Tilburg, 1983) studied architectural design at the Technical University of Delft and the Universittà della Svizzera Italiana in Mendrisio, Switzerland. In 2008, he graduated with honor and became an assistant-designer with Claus en Kaan in Amsterdam, subsequently transferring to cepezed in 2009.  His projects at cepezed include the Nutricia Danone research building in Utrecht, the DSM Rosalind Franklin Biotechnology Center in Delft, as well as the new A Pier at Schiphol Airport, The Netherlands.
